This kitchen remodel took a cramped space and created a functional and elegant open plan. The design focused on functionality in a family environment with ample preparation space and storage. The island provides more preparation space and storage and also allows for an informal dining area in the kitchen.
Closer to the dining room is a bar space and hand washing station with a sink. The open space takes advantage of the existing windows and space provided.
The kitchen has two stacked ovens that separate the space of the busy kitchen from the pantry and craft space.
Upon entering the kitchen, there is a bench with storage beneath and shelves for shoes and backpacks. There is also a desk and closet.
